Occupational Therapy

Our Occupational therapists use purposeful activities and a variety of treatment methods to obtain a desired level of functioning in work, self-care, play and leisure of our residents whose everyday life has been affected by physical, cognitive, and/or mental health problems. Enjoyable activities are provided in a group context to reduce the effects of institutionalization and prevent the elderly from the effects of “learned helplessness”.
