Kong Meng San Phor Kark See Monastery (KMSPKS) has organized a fundraising concert - “Voices of Harmony 2009”– on 27 November 2009 at the Singapore Indoor Stadium. It was a 2-hour show and the Man Fut Tong Nursing home’s staff is privileged to be at the event.
One remarkable performance is the Thousand-hand Bodhisattva, from the China Disabled People’s Performing Art Troupe which had captivated audiences with their amazing performances, comprising of over 20 performers with hearing and visual impairment or physical disability. Ranging in age from 18 to 50, these true professionals display a diverse range of artistic abilities and share a tremendous human spirit. “It was a magical show and the elderly enjoyed it very much,” said Xiao Ling, one of the nurses who was presented at the event.
