This year, the Woodlands CCC has celebrated the Mid Autumn festival by holding a dinner celebration at the Man Fut Tong on 16th October 2009.
Distinguished guests include Ms Ellen Lee, MP for Sembawang (Woodlands) who was there to grace the event. It was a night of festive cheer for the over 50 elderly residents who participated in the mid autumn festival .The resident was treated with a sumptuous fest, courtesy of our generous sponsors. After the buffet dinner, the residents were treated to a night of glittery Getai performance, .It was a dazzling performance put up by an array of delightful musical performances. Hosted by well known compere Marcus Chin, the singers performed Hokkien & Cantonese evergreen hits from the way back in the heydays from to 70s to the 90s
